Divorce laws
I separated from my wife after being married for 3 weeks.
Q: Can I get a divorce now?
A: In NZ you have to wait 2 years from the date of separation for the Family Court to allow you a dissolution (was called divorce) The process isĀ normally quite simple from there unless one party is living overseas or cannot be found.
